Sussex Butterfly Atlas - Rother Recording
The Sussex Branch of Butterfly Conservation are going to produce a Sussex Butterfly Atlas - a book showing the distribution of all butterfly species in the county. To do this they need to collect butterfly data from right across Sussex and they need people to get out looking for butterflies and reporting back on what they see.
The map below shows all tetrads (2km squares) in Rother for which there were no butterflies recorded in 2009. Are these squares really devoid of butterflies? - unlikely!
Please report all your butterfly sightings in Sussex and try visiting new or under-recorded areas.
Send your sightings to Clare Jeffers clarejeffers@aol.com.
