"The Butterflies of Sussex" - Official Book Launch

THE BUTTERFLIES OF SUSSEX

"The Butterflies of Sussex" was offically launched at the Booth Museum of Natural History in Brighton on the 25th May 2017.

Authors Michael Blencowe and Neil Hulme talked about the process or creating the Atlas and then read extracts from the book. Trevor Beattie, Chief Executive for the South Downs National Park Authority and Henri Brocklebank of the Sussex Wildlife Trust also made short speeches, as did Sussex Butterfly Conservation Branch chairman, Nigel Symington.

The evening was rounded off with a PowerPoint presentation of 200 slides in four minutes and thirty-one seconds accompanied by Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run". Mr. Springsteen was unavailable for comment, but I am sure would have enjoyed the evening if he had been there.
