In brief, if you want to see lot and lots of Dark Green Fritillaries, pay a visit to Chantry Hill. This afternoon, I counted 75 in the West Combe, which means that for all of Chantry Hill the current total will be around 150+. Approximately 90% seen today were males. The peak count should be in a week's time and will be in the region of 200 for this site.
